Goodby Silverstein & Partners made the spot, which recreates numerous film's iconic moments, including the bicycle ride in the sky and E.T.'s first interactions with startled children.

Released in the summer of 1982, E.T. took the world by storm, captivating audiences and becoming the highest-grossing movie at the time. His theme for E.T. could make a commercial for a cable television packages heartwarming!

"It's really a win-win", said Thomas in a statement. And once again, Elliott holds back tears as he watches E.T. fly away back home yet again, in the closing moments of the new short film.
