Witcher gets a season 2 on Netflix before season 1 even airs

Netflix confirmed the news, which we first heard at The Hollywood Reporter, on Twitter, revealing season two will premiere in 2021.

According to a report from TheWrap, Netflix renewed The Witcher for season 2 prior to the release of the first season.

The show, based on a fantasy book series, stars Henry Cavill as Geralt, the titular Witcher. The books follow beast hunters known as "witchers" who develop supernatural powers as children and go on to fight monsters and beasts.
