Laurel Griggs, a 13-year-old actress known for numerous Broadway roles, died unexpectedly last Tuesday.

The young Broadway actress Laurel Griggs who featured in many films and television shows died after suffering an asthma attack at the age of 13. "Mount Sinai was valiant in trying to save her but now she's with the angels". The young actor Laurel Griggs marked her Broadway debut in the year 2012 at the tender age of 6.

Laurel Griggs - who appeared in the Tony-winning musical "Once" - died on November 5, though the circumstances surrounding her death weren't provided, according to an obituary. She also spent almost two years, between 2013 and 2015, performing as Ivanka in the Tony-award winning Once the Musical and had two uncredited appearances on the long-running NBC late-night sketch series Saturday Night Live in 2017. She performed the role for 17 months while also being at school full time.

"I am deeply saddened by the sudden loss of one of my Ivanka sisters", she wrote. "Laurel - you were always smiling and always made other people laugh". I'm so incredibly grateful I got to know you.
